The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering offers a adaptable framework to explore novel and evolving research domains within civil engineering, aligned with faculty expertise.
Goals of the Civil Engineering Ph.D. program
Utilize core civil engineering principles within a chosen specialization.
Recognize and articulate original research problems in cutting-edge subjects with global relevance through thorough literature analysis.
Design and implement a structured research approach to address the identified problems.
Share research findings by producing a dissertation along with scholarly publications and conference presentations.
The student must have a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
The student must have an overall minimum grade point average of 3.25 at the master’s and 3.0 at the bachelor’s levels.
The student must provide the General GRE test scores.
