WMU's geochemistry research primarily takes place in the state-of-the-art Haenicke Hall science complex, which combines geoscience, biology, and chemistry labs under one roof to foster interdisciplinary research partnerships. A first-year applicant is a student who is applying for admission and who has not attempted or earned any college credit after graduating from high school/secondary school (or earned equivalent).
