Engineering design technology specialists utilize computer-aided design, engineering, and manufacturing systems to evaluate the viability of potential products and assist in product assembly through graphical documentation of components.
This technology enables businesses to save both time and financial resources. Numerous contemporary products undergo comprehensive design and testing phases prior to production. At Western Michigan University, students master this methodology using advanced CAD platforms and gain hands-on experience evaluating design functionality through diverse analytical systems. The tools and software utilized in our program directly foster the technical competencies that employers seek in graduates entering this profession.
