Western Michigan University's Workforce Education and Development program equips students for careers in technical instruction and employee training. The curriculum offers specialized knowledge in delivering technical material, practical internship and fieldwork experiences, plus the adaptability to concentrate on workforce development areas aligned with individual career objectives. Program completers gain eligibility to instruct at higher education settings including community colleges, technical schools, military bases, correctional institutions, and other organizations requiring both a bachelor's degree and technical expertise.
