The Educational Studies Department provides an extensive graduate program in educational leadership, where students can pursue a Master of Science in Education (MS Ed.), an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree, or an Educational Doctorate (Ed.D.). The master's curriculum focuses on foundational knowledge and skills for aspiring educational leaders. At the specialist level, coursework builds upon this foundation while incorporating advanced elements for professional development, including qualifications for superintendent roles. The doctoral program cultivates instructional leadership through collaborative, inquiry-driven learning, bringing together professionals to examine how theory, research, and political awareness address real-world challenges in education. The department also offers principal and superintendent licensure programs.
