Biology stands as one of science's most fundamental disciplines, with direct relevance to human life. Western Illinois University's Biology curriculum gives students comprehensive exposure to biology's many specialized areas.
Students can pursue Bachelor of Science degrees through majors in Biology (with concentrations in Botany, Environmental Biology, Microbiology, Zoology, Medical Sciences, and Science/Biology Teacher Education) or Clinical Laboratory Science. The program also offers minors in Botany, Horticulture, Microbiology, Middle Level Science Teaching, and Zoology.
