The Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Management equips students with essential skills to handle the business dimensions of environmental stewardship. Participants gain expertise in evaluating and communicating business, ethical, and legal considerations to decision-makers and stakeholders influencing natural resource and environmental policies.
Program Objectives
Graduates will demonstrate the ability to: Utilize fundamental terminology, concepts, principles, and theoretical frameworks in environmental management and global sustainability to address ecological issues, Integrate sustainability efforts with organizational goals and values, Mitigate operational risks related to environmental factors, Detect environmental threats impacting air, water, and land systems, Evaluate environmental risks, Implement measures to minimize or remove hazards, Apply project management methodologies and analytical techniques to develop sustainable solutions for environmental challenges.
