The Master of Science (MS) in Finance program offers an in-depth, quantitative exploration of financial principles, particularly focusing on corporate finance. Participants will complete coursework covering corporate finance, investment strategies, and financial markets and institutions. The curriculum culminates in a capstone project that integrates key finance concepts, with special attention to mergers, acquisitions, and business valuation. For those pursuing a dual degree with the MBA program, completion typically involves fulfilling both the standard MBA requirements (33 credit hours) and the additional degree's coursework, with exceptions as specified. Students who receive a waiver for BUSN 5000 will have their total credit requirement reduced by 3 credits without needing a replacement course. After fulfilling all credit requirements, graduates receive two distinct diplomas simultaneously—these degrees cannot be conferred independently or consecutively under this dual-degree structure.
