The Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Management equips students with essential skills to handle the business dimensions of environmental stewardship. Participants gain expertise in evaluating and communicating critical business, ethical, and legal considerations to decision-makers and stakeholders influencing natural resource management. For the dual degree with an MBA, students typically complete 33 credit hours of MBA coursework plus the required classes from the environmental management program (with some exceptions noted). If BUSN 5000 is waived, the total credit requirement decreases by 3 credits without needing a replacement course. After fulfilling all credit requirements, graduates receive two distinct diplomas simultaneously—these degrees cannot be conferred individually or consecutively under this program structure.
