This program provides learners with foundational concepts, frameworks, and methodologies from global studies, business administration, and organizational leadership as they apply to the multifaceted world of international tourism. The cross-cultural curriculum enables participants to synthesize insights from various academic fields, fostering well-rounded, principled, and actionable viewpoints on contemporary challenges in global tourism. Through coursework and tailored practical experiences, students will critically examine tourism development objectives and explore methods to make them both environmentally sustainable and socially just. The six-course certificate track is optional, allowing students to either complete the full sequence or select individual courses based on their particular interests.

Qualification Requirements

A completed online application for undergraduate admission. Students may submit the University's institutional application or The Common Application. Equal consideration is given to both during the admission review.
An official high school transcript and external exams (if applicable in applicant's home country). All transcripts issued in a language other than English must be accompanied by a certified English translation.
Proof of English language proficiency. See English Language Proficiency section below for approved methods.
A 300- to 500-word essay on a topic of the student's choice, such as a special interest, significant experience or notable achievement.
Strong consideration will be given to applicants who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (equivalent) or better (on a 4.0 scale) on all previous academic work.
Successful completion of the ELS Language Center's for Academic Purposes or ELS Language Center Level 112 (must have valid ELS 112 Certificate of Completion).
Successful completion of the University of Central Florida's Center for Multilingual Multicultural Studies (CMMS) Intensive English Program (must have valid completion certificate).
Successfully meeting the requirements for one of the following tests within the last two years:
