This undergraduate entrepreneurship certificate offers specialized courses for both business and non-business majors. The curriculum fosters entrepreneurial mindset development while equipping students with practical skills to launch, manage, or expand their own business ventures.

In the capstone course, students showcase their acquired knowledge by creating and presenting a feasible business proposal to a panel of established entrepreneurs. Upon successful completion, participants receive an entrepreneurship certificate from the George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology.

The 18-credit hour program features tailored certificate tracks aligned with students' academic disciplines or personal interests. All courses incorporate a unifying element that allows participants to concentrate their project work on developing their unique business ideas.

Qualification Requirements

A completed online application for undergraduate admission. Students may submit the University's institutional application or The Common Application. Equal consideration is given to both during the admission review.
An official high school transcript and external exams (if applicable in applicant's home country). All transcripts issued in a language other than English must be accompanied by a certified English translation.
Proof of English language proficiency. See English Language Proficiency section below for approved methods.
A 300- to 500-word essay on a topic of the student's choice, such as a special interest, significant experience or notable achievement.
Strong consideration will be given to applicants who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (equivalent) or better (on a 4.0 scale) on all previous academic work.
Successful completion of the ELS Language Center's for Academic Purposes or ELS Language Center Level 112 (must have valid ELS 112 Certificate of Completion).
Successful completion of the University of Central Florida's Center for Multilingual Multicultural Studies (CMMS) Intensive English Program (must have valid completion certificate).
