The Master's program is a rigorous two-year curriculum designed for students pursuing careers in biomedical research or medical education. It also serves as a stepping stone for those aiming for doctoral or professional studies. Participants choose between two specialized paths: the Research Track or the Education Track. The initial year concentrates on academic coursework, while the second year prioritizes practical experience in either research or teaching. Both tracks mandate a written thesis. The Research Track allows specialization in Visual Sciences or Neuroscience, exposing students to cutting-edge preclinical and clinical research methods. The Education Track focuses on developing teaching skills in Gross Anatomy, Microanatomy (Histology), Embryology, and Neuroanatomy. Through virtual microscopy and cadaver dissection, students gain valuable expertise to teach these subjects effectively.
