The Department provides PhD programs across all primary disciplines categorized as core concentrations within the Master of Science program, including construction engineering management, environmental engineering, structural engineering, and transportation. Currently, the geotechnical engineering specialization is not accepting doctoral applications.
Individuals earning a Ph.D. in engineering will:
Develop and execute innovative research within their chosen field.
Exhibit leadership capabilities in managing project teams.
Assess intricate and unconventional engineering challenges while formulating solutions through creative (non-traditional) methods.
Effectively convey technical knowledge to diverse audiences through both oral presentations and written documents.
Uphold professional standards while adhering to the most rigorous ethical guidelines.
