The WSU Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program equips students with the skills to deliver healthcare across diverse clinical environments, including hospitals, urban and rural clinics, home healthcare, long-term care facilities, end-of-life care, and educational institutions. The curriculum emphasizes developing clinical reasoning, effective communication, and collaborative patient-focused care that mirrors real-world healthcare teams. During the initial two years, students establish their academic groundwork to transition into the nursing coursework. Prerequisite nursing courses and general education requirements must be fulfilled at WSU Pullman (or comparable campuses) prior to applying to WSU's College of Nursing. The final two years of the bachelor's program can be completed at WSU College of Nursing locations in Spokane, Tri-Cities, or Yakima.
