Water resources engineering focuses on developing technologies for water supply. Through designing, assessing, and advancing suitable technologies, water resource engineers tackle issues like rising demand, deteriorating quality, outdated infrastructure, and heightened competition for scarce water supplies.
Civil engineering encompasses the planning, design, construction, and management of facilities and systems vital to contemporary life and infrastructure. Civil engineers develop and oversee bridges, roads, structures, airports, dams and waterways, water treatment and distribution networks, foundations and tunnels, waste processing and disposal sites, and both traditional and renewable energy systems.
The Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) program is accredited by ABET's Engineering Accreditation Commission. It offers comprehensive education in core engineering concepts and an in-depth overview of all civil engineering specializations.
