The JD/MDiv dual degree equips students with varied ministerial backgrounds and theological viewpoints for roles in religious leadership, while also serving those aiming for careers in both law and clergy.

This combined JD/MDiv program merges the standard three-year law and divinity curricula into an intensive five-year course. Students begin by finishing their initial two years at either the Law School or Divinity School. During years three and four, they fulfill the remaining requirements at the other institution. The final year involves one semester at each school to complete outstanding degree requirements and approved electives suitable for the dual degree.
