The Department of Agricultural, Leadership, and Community Education (ALCE) holds national acclaim as an integrated program covering instruction, outreach, community initiatives, and agricultural leadership. As social scientists working within agricultural and life sciences, we conduct research, teach, and run extension programs that empower individuals in these fields. ALCE's graduate programs build upon our research in problem-solving, leadership cultivation, analytical reasoning, program design and assessment, secondary and informal education, and career growth. These focus areas shape our core disciplines: education methodology, leadership transformation, and community advancement. Our graduate student association fosters career growth and networking through lectures, panels, and collaborative dialogues while also organizing social events for peers.
