ASPECT (the Alliance for Social, Political, Ethical, and Cultural Thought) promotes rigorous interdisciplinary dialogue across social sciences, humanities, and arts. We specialize in theoretical research that bridges disciplines. Beyond our unique PhD program, we function as a central meeting point for diverse interdisciplinary initiatives, projects, and gatherings. ASPECT integrates theoretical and empirical approaches through its academic offerings, research initiatives, teaching activities, and intellectual events, connecting methodologies, key concepts, pressing questions, and analytical frameworks from ethical philosophy, cultural analysis, political economy, social and political philosophy, history of ideas, global studies, and artistic disciplines including performance and visual arts.
