The PhD program mandates a dissertation on a finance topic that meets approval, equipping students for research-focused academic roles in business schools. The curriculum emphasizes research as its core objective. During the initial two years, students enhance their theoretical and analytical skills through advanced coursework in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, and four semesters of doctoral-level Finance seminars. Additionally, participants must complete research papers after their first and second years, alongside their dissertation. The program also includes teaching opportunities, with students required to instruct at least two courses, ensuring readiness for both research and teaching responsibilities in academia. With small annual cohorts of two to three students, the program offers individualized mentorship from faculty members who are nationally acclaimed for their research contributions.
