The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Film, specializing in filmmaking, connects you with professional photographers and filmmakers while keeping you updated on industry developments through seminars, guest talks, site visits, and workshops. Your curriculum blends academic learning with practical training across narrative, documentary, and avant-garde film production. You'll utilize various equipment including Super 8mm, 16mm, and digital cameras along with audio recording gear, completing the program with a portfolio of films you've scripted, produced, filmed, directed, and edited for public exhibition. Upon graduation, you'll possess multiple short film and digital media projects you've created from conception to final cut, while gaining extensive experience in various production roles. The program culminates with a focused senior thesis film, crafted under faculty guidance during your final year and showcased at a public premiere event.
