The program combines core general education courses with specialized Health Science major requirements and foundational science classes to ensure academic and professional preparedness. The Bachelor of Science in Health Science (BSHS) is structured as a three-year sequenced curriculum leading to degree completion.
Prospective students may transfer credits or use dual-enrollment for Human Anatomy and Physiology I & II (BIO 151 and 152) if they achieved at least a 3.000 (B) grade point average in these courses.
No other laboratory science credits will be accepted, including Advanced Placement or dual-credit Chemistry courses (CHEM 121 and 122).
