The International Economics and Cultural Affairs (IECA) major is an interdisciplinary specialization offered under the Global Studies B.A. program. This program integrates foreign language and cultural studies with globally oriented coursework in economics, geography, history, and political science. Participants choose a geographic focus (East Asia, Europe, or Latin America) that shapes their required curriculum and language requirements.
Unlike international business programs, the IECA major equips graduates for diverse career paths, ranging from global trade and finance to policymaking and public sector roles.
