The neuroscience doctoral program aims to equip students with comprehensive training and research expertise in cellular, cognitive, and behavioral neuroscience. Participants will utilize key neuroscience principles to examine both typical and atypical functions related to sensation, movement, cognition, language, and communication throughout human development. This objective will be achieved through foundational neuroscience coursework, specialized electives, and hands-on laboratory work.
Doctoral candidates in neuroscience must select a concentration area. Current options include Translational Neuroscience, Educational Neuroscience, and Lifespan Neuroscience.

Qualification Requirements

A bachelor's degree (or, for many doctoral programs, a master's degree) that will be completed before the student matriculates in the degree program. Three-year bachelor's degrees from accredited or similarly recognized institutions are accepted if endorsed by the department or degree program.
A 3.0 or higher grade point average for terms that include the student's last 60 semester or 90 quarter credits.
IELTS score of 6.0 overall band score with a minimum of 5.0 on each subscale
TOEFL internet-based (iBT) exam score of 79 or paper-based exam score of 550.
