Students who earn an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in General Technology can now seamlessly transfer their credits, along with their 900-hour certificate from a Utah System of Technical Colleges (USTC), into the Technology Systems Bachelor of Science (BS) program. This initiative aims to support working professionals by providing flexible degree options that accommodate their busy schedules while helping them progress in their careers. Even students without a USTC certificate or the AAS in General Technology may explore this pathway to apply technical credits earned at Utah State University or other schools. Each request for course substitutions is evaluated individually, with final approval determined by the academic advisor. Many students from Business, Engineering, and Outdoor Product programs are transitioning to Technology Systems to accelerate their graduation timeline or overcome challenges in completing their current degrees.
