Anthropology explores diverse cultures throughout history and geography. By comparing different societies, anthropologists identify both universal patterns and unique cultural variations. They address contemporary challenges including healthcare systems, legal frameworks, urban planning, population dynamics, and human rights advocacy. Our curriculum emphasizes four key subfields: cultural anthropology, biological anthropology, linguistic anthropology, and archaeological studies. This interdisciplinary approach provides undergraduates with exceptional research opportunities, utilizing cutting-edge laboratory facilities and immersive fieldwork. With intentionally limited class sizes, students benefit from personalized mentorship. Our distinctive program offers undergraduate students access to advanced training typically reserved for graduate studies. For those pursuing museum careers, we offer a specialized museum studies certificate - a frequent complement to the anthropology degree. Degree candidates must complete all major requirements, with BA recipients additionally demonstrating competence in one or more foreign languages.
