The Criminal Justice program provides students with diverse career opportunities in fields including law enforcement, judicial systems, criminalistics (crime laboratories and investigative work), legal practice, youth justice, and correctional services. To earn this degree, students must develop a comprehensive knowledge of the overall criminal justice framework. The curriculum addresses societal issues and challenges while incorporating insights from multiple academic fields such as political science, psychology, historical studies, and social sciences. While offering specialized training, the Criminal Justice program operates under the umbrella of the Sociology, Social Work, and Anthropology department rather than functioning as an independent academic unit.
