The Master of Music in Performance program is designed for aspiring performers seeking to enhance their skills, prepare for doctoral studies, or pursue professional performance careers. Admission requires a successful audition, which must be completed during the semester before enrollment begins. Prior to starting classes, students will take Graduate Placement Exams in music history and theory to assess their readiness for advanced coursework. Those who do not pass certain exam components will need to enroll in Graduate Fundamentals during the fall semester as a remedial course.
