This undergraduate program provides initial teaching certification, awarding graduates a Bachelor's Degree in Biology Education along with a concurrent Biology major. It equips students to instruct Biology at middle and high school levels (grades 6-12).
Completion requires 120 credit hours minimum. Students must achieve at least a C grade in all major courses. Most upper-level education courses, including EDSE 4500 Residency in Teaching, demand a minimum 2.75 overall GPA from the University of Wyoming. Additionally, a 2.50 GPA is mandatory for major content courses, with at least 42 credits at the upper-division level.
