Bachelor's Degree
This undergraduate program provides initial teaching licensure (leading to certification). Students completing this program receive a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Language Education along with a dual major in French (Previously known as: Foreign Language). The curriculum equips future educators to teach French to middle and high school students (grades 6-12).
Completion requires at least 120 credit hours. All core courses demand a grade of C or higher. Most upper-level education courses, including EDSE 4500 Residency in Teaching, require a minimum 2.75 overall GPA from the University of Wyoming. Content area courses need a 2.50 minimum GPA, with at least 42 credits at the upper-division level.
