The Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art program is designed for students pursuing advanced education or careers in various art disciplines, including art education, graphic design, art therapy, illustration, botanical illustration, and forensic illustration. With guidance from academic advisors, students choose courses from the University Studies Program and electives to enhance their specialized art studies. A minimum grade of C is required for all department-mandated courses, which must be completed for letter grades. Beyond the university's standard 2.000 cumulative GPA requirement, BA in Studio Art candidates in the Department of Visual and Literary Arts must maintain at least a 2.500 overall GPA and a 2.500 GPA in all major courses upon graduation.
