Working alongside various academic departments at UW-Milwaukee, SOIS enables students to pursue dual Master's degrees simultaneously—one in Library and Information Science (MLIS) and another in a chosen discipline. Each combined degree program's MLIS portion consists of 30 credit hours from SOIS coursework. This includes 12 credits of required MLIS foundation courses, with the additional 18 credits tailored from the School's curriculum to align with each student's objectives in the dual-degree initiative
