Working alongside various academic departments at UW-Milwaukee, SOIS provides students with the chance to pursue dual Master's degrees simultaneously—one in Library and Information Science (MLIS) and another in a chosen discipline. The MLIS portion of these joint programs consists of 30 credit hours from SOIS coursework. This includes the required MLIS foundational courses (12 credits), with the additional 18 MLIS credits chosen from the School's curriculum based on each student's objectives within the combined degree program.
