Geography examines spatial distributions and regional connections within both natural and human-made settings. It focuses on humanity's interactions with these environments in the present, throughout history, and in potential or desired future scenarios. This broad perspective enables geographers to pursue careers across numerous sectors, ranging from environmental conservation to city design, from neighborhood revitalization to national park administration and GIS coordination. Those selecting the Geographical Information Track will develop expertise in Geographic Information Science (GIS). GIS involves handling location-based information, a skill applicable to multiple domains such as city development, ecological assessment, mapmaking, commercial and property sectors, healthcare, and defense intelligence.
