Data surrounds us everywhere. Companies are actively seeking professionals capable of handling, examining, and leveraging this information to enhance decision-making processes. The Bachelor of Science in Data Analytics (BSDA) equips you with precisely these capabilities. This distinctive undergraduate program combines coursework from the College of Letters & Science, College of Community Engagement & Professions, Lubar College of Business, and College of Engineering & Applied Science, delivering both comprehensive liberal arts education and a multidisciplinary perspective on data analytics.

What makes UWM's BS in Data Analytics stand out is its focus on preparing students to apply data analytics within their chosen fields of interest. As a student in this program, you'll first establish fundamental data analysis competencies before concentrating on business analytics, healthcare analytics, information science analytics, natural sciences analytics, social sciences analytics, or geographic information systems. Graduates with data analytics qualifications enjoy excellent employment opportunities. These skills are now essential not just in traditionally data-driven sectors such as IT, scientific research, and commerce, but also in emerging fields like agricultural science, meteorology, environmental studies, geospatial analysis, and medical services that are increasingly harnessing their data assets.
