The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music History and Literature emphasizes the historical and analytical exploration of music, equipping students for advanced studies in fields like musicology, ethnomusicology, music librarianship, or music critique. Participants benefit from comprehensive music library resources, featuring physical and digital scores, audio recordings in various formats, music literature, and streaming services. The program also incorporates practical librarianship training via the Coordinated Program in Music Librarianship, a collaborative initiative between the School of Information Studies and the Peck School of the Arts Music Department.
