Clinical investigation involves teams of medical experts, biostatisticians, and other specialists who conceptualize, plan, and execute clinical studies, ultimately applying findings to human or animal patients within healthcare systems or communities.
The Graduate Program in Clinical Investigation (GPCI) grants a Master of Science degree. GPCI's mission is to equip physicians, clinical researchers, and healthcare practitioners with the expertise required to perform and transform fundamental scientific breakthroughs into clinical uses via patient-focused (human or animal) research. This MS program educates learners to accelerate the translation of research into effective treatments for patient groups.
