The CAHC initiative provides a chance to cultivate a thorough, methodical grasp of Marxist and alternative radical perspectives in sociology. Rather than focusing on particular subject areas, the program's cohesion stems from its dedication to addressing fundamental inquiries raised by radical social theories, questioning mainstream sociology's theoretical approach, and formulating critical alternatives. The curriculum centers on two annual foundational courses, several core seminars (offered at least triennially), and various specialized seminars (scheduled intermittently). Participants also engage in the Havens Center's Visiting Scholar Program seminars, connecting them with distinguished critical thinkers globally.
