About Us The Biology of Brain and Behavior (BBB) field integrates Neuroscience, Comparative Psychology, and Animal Behavior studies.
Our Methodology We employ diverse techniques such as molecular genetics, neuroimaging, electrophysiology, immunohistochemistry, optogenetic and chemogenetic approaches, pharmacological studies, hormonal and immune system evaluations, computational modeling, and behavioral assessments.
Our Focus Areas Our research explores social neuroscience, psychoneuroimmunology, hormonal influences on behavior, stress and arousal mechanisms, psychopharmacology, developmental and aging processes, sensory systems, and multi-scale brain organization ranging from genetic to cellular and neural network levels.
International applicants must have a degree comparable to a regionally accredited U.S. bachelor’s degree.
