The cellular and molecular pathology (CMP) graduate program is a collaborative initiative between UW-Madison's Department of Pathology and the School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH). This multidisciplinary training setting, situated within a dynamic basic and clinical translational research environment, delivers exceptional intellectual engagement for doctoral candidates. The CMP program introduces an innovative curriculum at the university, combining comprehensive instruction in contemporary pathobiology principles with a focus on biochemical, cellular, and molecular methodologies, while delivering thorough laboratory-based research experience in disease mechanisms.
