Public Administration examines the creation and execution of such governmental policies. A degree in public administration provides versatile skills and prepares graduates for roles in government agencies, consulting firms, policy organizations, corporate sectors, political messaging, and charitable institutions. At UW-La Crosse's Public Administration program, faculty members push, guide, counsel, and assist students as they engage in internships, academic research, international studies, and practical educational experiences.
Public Administration encompasses governmental operations. It involves legal frameworks, regulatory processes, and executive actions. This field also focuses on coordinating personnel and assets to accomplish state objectives and enforce public policies. Public administration majors study subjects including policy analysis, governmental and non-profit leadership, economic principles, research techniques, and additional relevant topics.
Applicant must have completion of secondary or post-secondary from institution.
English Language Proficiency
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 73 with IELTS score of 6.0 and PTE score of 54. In addition completion of ELS level 112 and completion of WESLI level 700 is required.
Priority application deadlines are 15 December for the January/Spring semester and 15 July for the September/Fall semester.
