Psychology delves into the study of mental processes, behaviors, and the human and animal mind. While some psychology students pursue advanced degrees to become professional psychologists, undergraduate studies open doors to diverse career paths and graduate programs spanning social services, business administration, and education.
At UWL, psychology ranks among the most sought-after majors, with approximately 750 declared majors and 400 minors. The program offers a robust foundation in both liberal arts and scientific inquiry, actively encouraging students to engage in fieldwork, internships, and research opportunities.
The field of psychology encompasses numerous specialized areas, all united by the pursuit of understanding cognition and behavior. UWL's curriculum covers multiple subfields such as developmental, educational, experimental, social, clinical, counseling, and cross-cultural psychology.
Applicant must have completion of secondary or post-secondary from institution.
English Language Proficiency
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 73 with IELTS score of 6.0 and PTE score of 54. In addition completion of ELS level 112 and completion of WESLI level 700 is required.
Priority application deadlines are 15 December for the January/Spring semester and 15 July for the September/Fall semester.
