This unique dual degree program allows students to earn both a Bachelor of Science in biology and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from UW-La Crosse. The program typically involves three years of undergraduate studies followed by 34 months in the physical therapy graduate curriculum. Undergraduate requirements encompass the general education program, college core courses (excluding a minor), physical therapy prerequisites, and all biology major requirements except for six elective credits.
Admission to the physical therapy graduate program at UW-La Crosse is competitive. Enrollment in the undergraduate Biology/PT dual degree program does not ensure acceptance into the graduate physical therapy program.
Applicant must have completion of secondary or post-secondary from institution.
English Language Proficiency
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 73 with IELTS score of 6.0 and PTE score of 54. In addition completion of ELS level 112 and completion of WESLI level 700 is required.
Priority application deadlines are 15 December for the January/Spring semester and 15 July for the September/Fall semester.
