The English major with a medical professions focus blends English and biology courses to equip students for healthcare careers. This program allows students to fulfill pre-healthcare requirements while honing their writing abilities and exploring human experiences through storytelling. Such competencies prove invaluable for health professions requiring strong communication skills. This concentration complements science and pre-health pathways in other disciplines, giving UWL students a competitive edge when applying to clinical health programs.
Applicant must have completion of secondary or post-secondary from institution.
English Language Proficiency
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 73 with IELTS score of 6.0 and PTE score of 54. In addition completion of ELS level 112 and completion of WESLI level 700 is required.
Priority application deadlines are 15 December for the January/Spring semester and 15 July for the September/Fall semester.
