The field focused on measuring environmental exposures is known as exposure science. Our Master's programs in Exposure Science and Occupational Hygiene prepare scientists and practitioners to detect, assess, and mitigate exposures that could elevate health risks or injury potential. Through collaboration with faculty, students learn to pinpoint, measure, and address workplace and community hazards. Investigative areas encompass: evaluating and managing biological, chemical, and physical risks, studying respiratory, reproductive, and chronic conditions, analyzing occupational and environmental cancer patterns, implementing bio-monitoring and health tracking systems, and developing workplace/environmental health policies. The curriculum provides thorough understanding of safety fundamentals, robust technical competencies, and hands-on application.
