The University of Washington's Master of Science in Civil Engineering (MSCE) program equips students with advanced expertise for professional roles or doctoral studies. Earning an MSCE enhances job market prospects, facilitates career progression, or provides a pathway to Ph.D. programs. The program attracts recent graduates seeking specialization, working engineers aiming for advancement, and career changers pursuing new opportunities. UW CEE's Construction, Energy and Sustainable Infrastructure (CESI) program evolved from the original Construction MSCE track, now offering diverse specializations across construction, energy, and sustainable infrastructure fields. CESI graduates pursue careers in various construction sectors (commercial and civil), along with roles in planning, designing, and building energy-efficient and sustainable infrastructure systems.
