Our Master's program provides an efficient educational path that enhances expertise and career-ready abilities in chemical engineering. Learners collaborate with our internationally acclaimed faculty, exploring diverse disciplines while obtaining focused mentorship in their chosen specialization. M.S. candidates take identical courses to our Ph.D. students. The curriculum addresses fundamental topics essential for every chemical engineer, such as thermodynamics, transport phenomena, kinetics, and applied mathematics, supplemented with electives aligned with individual interests. Research track participants undertake groundbreaking investigations in faculty-led laboratories, while data science track students fulfill a culminating project and discipline-specific courses blending data science with chemical engineering principles.
A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
English Proficiency:
The Graduate School is temporarily accepting official test scores for both the Duolingo English Test and the TOEFL ITP Plus For China to assist international students with remote testing options. This policy is currently in effect through the autumn 2021 admission cycle (i.e., students enrolling in autumn 2021).
TOEFL iBT - Minimum Required Score (ELP Required): 80; Recommended Score (ELP Satisfied): 92 or higher
TOEFL pBT - Minimum Required Score: 500
Duolingo: Minimum Required Score (ELP Required): 105; Recommended Score (ELP Satisfied): 120 or higher
