The Master of Fine Arts in Painting is a rigorous two-year program designed for dedicated artists. This program attracts highly driven individuals focused on developing their painting and drawing skills as a form of visual communication. Each year, we accept four to six MFA candidates, maintaining a small cohort of eight to ten students. Graduate participants collaborate closely with six faculty members, all practicing artists representing diverse contemporary painting styles. The Graduate Painting PLUS Drawing Program fosters independent studio practice and in-depth artistic exploration. Students are supported in taking relevant courses and seminars across the university. The curriculum prioritizes personal artistic growth and helps each student refine their distinctive creative voice.
