Our two-year Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MATESOL) program offers a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on training for students worldwide. The curriculum covers essential topics like second language learning theories, teaching methods, evaluation techniques, and research, while also exploring the social, cultural, and political dimensions of English language education.
Participants gain valuable experience through two practicum courses, working directly with international learners under the guidance of seasoned instructors. Additionally, a select number of competitive teaching assistantships are available, primarily for second-year students, allowing them to lead their own English classes.
