The Milgard School of Business provides multiple graduate degree options, including a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Accounting (MAcc), Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA), and Master of Cybersecurity & Leadership (MCL). Originally launched in 1994 as UW Tacoma's Business Administration program, it was renamed in 2003 following a transformative $15 million donation from Gary E. Milgard, the Milgard Family Foundation, and James A. Milgard. The Milgard family's philanthropic vision aimed to create an exceptional business education institution at UW Tacoma. Applicants must hold a Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the U.S. or its equivalent from a foreign institution; have earned at least a 3.0 grade-point-average (on a 4 point scale) for the last 90 graded quarter credits or 60 graded semester credits.
English Proficiency:
TOEFL iBT - Minimum Required Score (ELP Required): 80; Recommended Score (ELP Satisfied): 92 or higher
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) provides a profile of a candidate’s ability to use English. Candidates receive scores on a Band Scale from 1 to 9.
