Our seven Master of Laws (LL.M.) programs concentrate on numerous dynamic and complex fields of advanced legal study. Tailored for both internationally educated attorneys and U.S. students with a J.D., UW Law's LL.M. programs enable legal practitioners to enhance their expertise and broaden their skills. Learners benefit from UW Law's Seattle location, immersing themselves in the city's practical educational setting while joining initiatives and collaborations that nurture aspiring legal professionals. Offering six focused concentrations plus a completely flexible General LL.M. option, participants design their academic path to align with career goals and personal aspirations. Through foundational coursework, students broaden their education by choosing from an extensive selection of specialized, practice-oriented, and cross-disciplinary electives, with opportunities to enroll in courses across other University of Washington departments.
